| I was impressed with Stephanie Land's ability and openness to show what life is like for the working poor. While this book may not completely acknowledge the difficulties that POC might experience given similar circumstances, I'm not certain it would be fair to expect her to do this. She does the job of telling her story and her personal experience. She does this well, anything outside of this would be not telling her own story. Certainly an eye-opening account of poverty in America. #Maid #NetGalley |
